The Wessex Region covers Dorset, East Wiltshire, East Somerset, and West Hampshire. Despite its geographic and economic diversity—from the luxury homes of Poole to rural Wiltshire – it is one of the most closely connected GCMA regions.

With stunning landscapes including the New Forest, Salisbury Plains, and Jurassic Coast, Wessex offers a wide range of golfing and lifestyle experiences. Tourism and heritage sites like Stonehenge and Avebury add to the area’s unique appeal – reflected in the diversity of our club managers.

Our goal is simple: help golf clubs thrive through collaboration, shared ideas, and positive support. Meetings are friendly, golf is competitive, and conversations flow well into the evening – making every event memorable.

Being a golf club manager can be isolating; Wessex provides a strong sense of camaraderie, making the tough times easier and the good ones even better. New managers are always welcome.
