Regional Invitational Meeting at Rushmore – 8th Sept

The Annual Invitational Meeting saw eight pairs battle it out over 18 holes at the superbly presented Rushmore GC. The weather improved as everyone started their rounds with the sun shining through after the first couple of holes. This event is always a great way to involve a colleague/friend and to show the camaraderie that the association provides.

With fast tricky greens it was a challenging round as the scores reflected.

17th Alex Taylor

Congratulations went to recently joined member Stefan Hawes and his guest Joe Pitfield winning with a score of 40pts followed by James Fuller and Jackie Mantle in 2nd place. 3rd place saw Alex Taylor and Ian Ogilvy take the prize with Mike Allen and Paul Sadler 4th.

The day was rounded off with a great meal where everyone could recount the trials and tribulations of their rounds. A great day was had by all and thanks go to Declan Healy and his team at Rushmore for hosting the event.
