2025 Past Captain’s Meeting

Tuesday 21st October saw the annual gathering of Past Captain’s to compete for the Brian Savery Chalice. Also present were the current Captain Chris Huggins and Vice Captain Ali Baldwin along with RM Ken Dooks.

The heavy rain from the day before had thankfully passed through and the forecast was for a possible shower but otherwise mainly dry. Bacon rolls and coffee greeted the players and after catching up on old times they duly set off. The course proved challenging with the odd squally shower which quickly blew through.

Returning to the clubhouse everyone took a well deserved rest over drinks before sitting down to a splendid 2 course meal, thanks to Ali’s team. Stories were exchanged along with regards from those unable to attend.

2nd on countback – Alex Taylor
3rd Graham Fisher
Nearest the Pin on the 18th – Kevin Pickett.

Thank you to Ali and his team for looking so well after us at Upavon GC, it was great day where everyone was able to catch up. It was great to meet everyone.
