DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThe Triangular Match takes place annua
 lly between Hampshire\, Sussex and Wessex. Each of the regions fields a 
 12 person team. The format for the golf is an individual stableford with
  the best 8 of the 12 scores to count.\n\nOver the years a ritual has de
 veloped over the evening meal where each player is requested to reveal t
 heir score to the gathering. The Captains seek the scores from the playe
 rs.\n\nAfter disclosues from the 1st eight scores the totals are totted 
 up. Each subsequent score called for then results in the lowest score fr
 om the 8 being discarded and a new total being arrived at. It makes for 
 a tense and intriguing meal\, usually with the winners being established
  with or after coffee.\n\nThe event has run annually since 1996.
